Analysis: Kent State is coming into this game with an 11-6 record this season and they are 2-3 in the conference. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 5 games as they have not been playing well recently, and all 3 of those losses came at home. They did win both of their home games in the conference, but those wins came against Northern Illinois and Buffalo who are both well under .500 and near the bottom of the MAC. They are going up against a Toledo team that is 10-7 this season and they are 4-1 in the conference. They have been very good in the conference and have been playing much better in recent games, winning 4 of their last 5 games with their only loss in that span coming on the road against a very good Akron team. They have won both of their home games in the conference as well and they have won 4 of their 5 games at home this season. They bounced back from their 1 loss in the conference in their last game and now they are coming off of an 18 point win on the road against Ball State in their last game. Kent State has not struggled on the road this season, but their 2 road games in the conference were against some of the worst teams in the MAC so this is going to be a much harder game for them. Kent State has also been awful with their shooting both from the field and from 3 point range this season so Toledo can certainly take advantage of that at home. Toledo will cover the spread in this game.
